For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “Us”, “Our” and “We” refers to The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts and “You” and “Your” refers to you, the client, Guest, Customer, visitor, website user or person using our website.

We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of these terms at any time. Please check these terms regularly prior to using our website to ensure you are aware of any changes. We will endeavour to highlight any significant or substantive changes to you where possible. If you choose to use our website, then we will regard the use as conclusive evidence of your agreement and acceptance that these terms govern yours and The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts rights and obligations to each other.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

It is an essential pre-condition to you, using our website that you agree and accept that The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts is not legally responsible for any loss or damage you might suffer related to your use of the website; whether from errors or from omissions in our documents or information, any goods or services we may offer or from any other use of the website. This includes your use or reliance on any third party content, links, comments or advertisements. Your use of, or reliance on, any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable.

It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific and personal requirements.

COMPETITION AND CONSUMER ACT

The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts liability for any breach of a term in this agreement is limited to: the supplying of the goods or services to you again; the replacement of the goods; or the payment of the cost of having the goods or services supplied to you again.

You must be over 18 years of age to use this website and to purchase any goods or services.

REFUND POLICY

The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts refund services are based on certain itineraries and business protocols. These itineraries and comprehensive protocols are as follows;

In case of an Unexpected Emergency Rescheduling, Applicable for extreme unforeseen events and circumstances such as: a sudden death, unexpected health issues that impedes Guests to fly/travel, the Guest can reschedule to other dates available for booking without any refund given.
No refunds for No-Shows, unused hotel rooms, or any other services pre-booked.
90 or more days prior to arrival = 75% refund of Grand Total less US $100 processing fee.
60 to 89 days prior to arrival = 50% refund of Grand Total less US $100 processing fee.
0 to 59 days prior to arrival = NO refund.
No refunds or credits will be issued for any unused portions of a package.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellation of reservations or portions of reservations MUST be received in writing through our email at thealexandriamarquis21@gmail.com.
90 or more days prior to arrival = 75% refund of Grand Total less US $100 processing fee.
60 to 89 days prior to arrival = 50% refund of Grand Total less US $100 processing fee.
0 to 59 days prior to arrival = NO refund.
Due to the above it is HIGHLY recommended that all clients purchase “trip cancellation insurance” in order to cover a possible cancellation of 90 days or less of initiating itinerary.
The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts cannot be held responsible or liable for trip cancellations or altered itineraries due to reasons out of our control. Such as acts of supremacy, including but not limited to heavy rains, flooding, storms, hurricanes or any other natural disasters. Whenever possible another available tour will be substituted for tour cancellations if applicable to you (the Guest).
We strongly recommended that you (the Guest) purchase comprehensive travel insurance for all bookings done in Belize.
The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts is not responsible for refunding any portions of any itinerary which the clients do not use.
Tours & other Services offered by The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts are paid upon arrival at the front desk with the receptionist of The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts or to the business service entity on the day of the tour or service rendered.
We accept cash, Visa Card and Master Card for the remaining balance of our service.
A 9% BTB Tax Fee is charged on all Reservation Bookings.
Check-in Time: 2:00 pm Belize Time.
Check-out Time: 10:00 am Belize Time.
Prices are based on double occupancy for each room.
Children under 12 years of age stay free when sharing room with parents for Room Only Rates Only, does not include for Our All-Inclusive Packages.
If extra bedding is needed, a fee of US $50 per night is applicable.
Guest’s ages 12 years and older pay an additional fee plus BTB Tax Fee per person per night.
Breakfast is included for all Guests staying in each room. Breakfast is served from 8:00 A.M to 10:00 A.M Belize time only.
Flight and transfer arrangements need to be book at least 72 hours before your arrival.
Minimum 2 booking nights for Peak Season
Discounts do not apply to existing reservations when available.

PAYMENT POLICY

Full payment is required for ROOM ONLY reservations to be confirmed.
100% deposit is required for PACKAGE RESERVATIONS to be confirmed.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Because The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts cannot be held responsible or liable for trip cancellations or altered itineraries due to reasons out of our control, it is highly recommended that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance for all bookings done in Belize.
The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts do not sell travel insurance.

JURISDICTION

This agreement and The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts website are subject to the laws of Belize. If there is a dispute between you and The Alexandria Marquis Hotel and Resorts that results in litigation, then you must submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Belize.
